At
11:18 a.m. on Mar.2, 2007, the mechanical completion
ceremony of 250,000t/a LDPE Plant was celebrated at
Maoming LDPE Plant. This indicates that the construction
task of Maoming 1,000,000t/a ethylene expansion project
has been fully completed. It has established a firm
foundation for the production capacity of Maoming
ethylene plant up to 1,000,000t/a.
Maoming
250,000t/a LDPE plant started piling on Sep.20, 2005 and
preliminary compressor realized N2 pre-commissioning
successfully at 8:00p.m, on Mar.1, 2007, which was ready
for mechanical completion of LDPE plant with high
standard, 13 days ahead of schedule earlier than
mechanical completion in the contract (Mar.15, 2007).
On
the ceremony of mechanical completion, Mr. Li Anxi,
president of Maoming Petrochemical Company gave high
evaluation to the construction quality and erection
speed of LDPE Plant undertaken by Maoming Petrochemical
Project Department. He praised The Tenth Construction
Company has created a new record in erection and
construction of largest LDPE plant in China in the
shortest period. Mr. Song Chunmin, project manger of
Maoming Petrochemical Project Department, on behalf of
the construction company, reported the construction
situation of this project.
