Syria
Power Plant Revamping Project constructed by our company
in the form of EPC obtained significant stage success.
Syria Mehardeh Power Plant No.2 generator was on-line
generating electricity. Therefore, Syria Project
Department sent a letter of reporting a success to the
Company and the Party Committee of the Company.
It
was said in the letter of reporting a success that Syria
Mehardeh Power Plant No.2 generator ignited and started
up at earlier morning on Dec.18, 2007, on-line parallel
generating electricity at 2:00p.m. on Dec.18, upgrading
load to 146～148MW at 10:00p.m on Dec.19, which
exceeded 145MW required in the contract under the kindly
care of SINOPEC and the leaders of TCCS, with the
assistance of each department of TCCS, with the vigorous
cooperation of Harbin Power Equipment Research Company,
Wuhan Qingyuan Electric Power Group, Henan Puyang
Construction Company, Jilin Electric Power Testing
Research Institute and the manufacturer of DCS, feed
water pump, hydrodynamic coupling etc. Now it has
operated continuously and stably for 24 hours and
entered into 15 days of commercial operation and
transacted the certificate of temporary acceptance. The
construction of Syria Electric Power Plant Revamping
Project obtained significant stage success.
