At
4:30 p.m., on Mar. 28, 206, the commencement ceremony of
XinJaing Weimei Acetylene Project was taken place in the
construction site of acetylene plant of XinJiang Meike
Chemical Park. Mr. Chen Lei, the vice chairman of
Xinjiang Uygur municipality, Mr. Liu Genyuan, the
president and board chairman of Assets Management
Company of SINOPEC, Mr. Fan Jixian, vice president of
the Tenth Construction Company of SINOPEC and the local
leaders took part in the ceremony of commencement. The
leaders of Sichun Vinylon Plant of SINOPEC came to the
site to express their congratulation.
It
is understand that Acetylene Plant of Xinjiang Weimei
Chemical is mutually invested and constructed by Sichun
Vinylon Plant of SINOPEC and Xinjiang Meike Chemical
Co., Ltd. The total investment is about 400 million RMB.
It is anticipated that this project will be commenced
formally on June 2006 and completed on July 2007.
