Qinghong expressed his sincerely solicitude to the staff
and employees of The Tenth Construction Company of
SINOPEC and shook hands and took a group photo with
them, praised that it is really a miracle to build
8,000,000t/a refinery plant in 18 months”.
In
the morning, April 19, 2006, color flags flew over in
the construction site of Hainnan Refinery Project which
will be built up and put into production. The banner of “Warmly
Welcome Senior Officer of the Central Committee to Visit
Hainan Refinery” and “Assist Special Zone to Develop
Rapidly and Mutually Grow Up with Hainan Refinery”
hanged up on the pipe rack was especially striking to
the eyes. Zeng Qinghong, Political Bureau of the Central
Committee of the Communist Party of China, Secretary of
the Secretariat of CPC Central Committee and the state
vice-chairman visited Hainan Refinery Project of SINOPEC
accompanied by Wang Xiaofeng, Secretary of Hainan
Provincial Committee of the CPC and director of NPC
Standing Committee of the province, Wei Liucheng, Vice
Secretary of Provincial Party Committee and Governor,
Chen Tonghai, Party Secretary and General President of
SINOPEC

Qinghong, Vice-Chairman kindly shook hands with Mr. Fang
Lujin, president assistant of The Tenth Construction
Company of SINOPEC, project manager of Hainan
Petrochemical Project Department and the other leaders
in front of the plant constructed by The Tenth
Construction Company of SINOPEC. The employees who were
working on the ground and tower of the plant gladly
applause and welcome when they saw Zeng Qinghong, vice-
chairman walked to them. Zeng Qinghong waved greetings
to everybody and kindly shook hands with some workers
who were working on the ground and expressed his
sincerely solicitude to all employees who attended the
construction of the project.

Qinghong, Vice-Chairman highly praised and said “It is
amazing to build up 8,000,00t/a refinery plant in 18
months. It is really a miracle! I am on behalf of the
Party Central Committee to thank for your hard
working!” When Zeng Qinghong,. Vice-Chairman knew that
Mr. Ma Jianhua, Quality & Safety Department of
Hainan Refinery Project Department is in charge of
safety management of construction, he shook Mr. Ma’s
hands and kindly urged again and again: “Safety work
is very important. Responsibility is weightier than
Mount Tai!” The general progress of Hainan Refinery
Project has completed over 97%. HSE management and
quality control is under controlled condition. Zeng
Qinghong, Vice Chairman expressed his satisfaction to
keep no accident records in the construction of Hainan
Refinery Project for two years.
