On
June 30, 2006, Hainan
Refinery 2,800,000t/a Heavy Resid Catalytic Cracking
Plant was realized mechanical completion.
2,800,000t/a
Heavy Resid Catalytic Cracking Plant is the core plant
of Hainan Refinery Project. There are total 49 unit
works, the main quantity of work includes: concrete
21800m3, excavation of earthwork 33368m3, erection of
steel structure 5693tons, erection of equipment 348 sets
(among which 9 sets/2596tons equipment were assembled
and welded at site),piping 58.6km, assembling and
welding of flue 863m/2286tons, electric equipment 464
sets,cable 220km,instrument equipment 5680 sets,
instrument cable 501km.
Since
the commencement of civil work from December 2004, our
company has made an integrated planning, strict and
careful management, active coordination, fulfil the task
according to the spirit of all previous site meeting
organized by SINOPEC and the requirements of the
Headquarters of Hainan Refinery Project and realized the
target of integrated planning. Our company attached
importance to quality control of the project during the
course of construction. We took 2 vessels and boiler as
the keystone, strictly control the quality for welding
of the process piping, lining work, calibration of
electric and instrument and test run of rotating
equipment. We carried out all activities according to
the procedure at each link and met the requirements of
acceptance specification for construction and design. We
took 36398 pieces of RT films for Heavy Resid Catalytic
Cracking Plant. The once acceptable rate of welding was
96.6%. There was no any leaking point at butt weld
during pressure test. Two vessels have completed dry-out
for 416 hours.
Sinopec
Engineering Incorporation undertook EPC for this plant,
Luoyang Petrochemical Enginering Supervision Company was
responsible for supervision and The Tenth Construction
Company of SINOPEC undertook the task of construction.
On the ceremony of mechanical completion at the meeting
room of Hainan Refinery, the Owner---Hainan Refinery,
General contractor---SEI, Quality Supervision Station of
SINOPEC, Luoyang Supervision Company gave highly
consistent affirmation for the construction acheivements
made by our company during the summary meeting of the
project construction. The leader of Hainan Refinery
praised our company “The Tenth Construction Company of
SINOPEC has realized mechanical completion with high
standard under such difficult condition and has created
new high point of construction achievements, its
contribution move us to praise and tear. It will leave
over a resplendent page on the constructive history of
